Lake Lure Village Resort Boat and Beach Rules

LLVR does not promise a permanent boat slip to any resident or lot owner. Renters or guests of owners may not launch a boat or park a boat on LLVR docks. The priority of boat slip use on the docks in the second cove (cove outside the beach cove) is as follows:

        1)    Permanent residents
        2)    Home owners who are not permanent residents
        3)    Lot owners
        4)    Any owner with a second boat

The docks in the beach cove will be for homeowners only.  Priority Use will be:

        1)     Permanent residents
        2)     Homeowners

In the event the docks fill up, #3 and #4 will have to remove their boat and be put on a waiting list. This will be determined by a drawing. Boats may not be left docked if a member is off the property more than 14 days. In the event of rules violations, the rules enforcement committee will issue a fine, currently not to exceed 100 dollars ($100) per day, per incident as allowed by the planned community act.

The LLVR docks are for boats owned by POA Member’s only!   Rental company boats and boats owned by non-member guests and/or renters are prohibited from using the POA launching ramp or docks at anytime.

Any member having a large gathering or party at the beach must bag and remove their trash to the trash room.

North Carolina State law prohibits use of any fireworks that leave the ground. This was verified with the Chief of Police in Lake Lure. Rockets and artillery shells are prohibited in N.C.   Due to gasoline on boats and flammable upholstery, no fireworks of any kind will be allowed around the beach area. This includes July 4.

Boat trailer parking is not allowed at the beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Members are responsible for their guests at the beach.

Please - Do not trespass on other members boats and stay off the docks unless you are accessing your own personal boat.

DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES IN THE RESORT WHEN OFF THE OWNERS PROPERTY.
THIS INCLUDES THE BEACH.
